How Boundless Horizon Puppies Started
We didn't set out to build a business — we set out to solve a problem we kept seeing. Families wanted healthy, well-socialized puppies from honest sources, and too many of the options they found online were anonymous listings with vague guarantees and no real accountability.
In 2022, we launched Boundless Horizon Puppies from Millersburg, Ohio — right in the heart of Holmes County. The concept was straightforward: work directly with a small network of family home raisers we know personally, ensure every litter gets proper veterinary care and Early Neurological Stimulation training, and stand behind every puppy with a real written guarantee and a real phone number.
That's still exactly how we operate. We're not a kennel. We're not a pet store. We're a licensed Ohio puppy placement service — Dan works with each home raiser personally, Melissa handles logistics and family communication, and every puppy that leaves goes to a family that's spoken directly with us first.

ENS Training Days 3 Through 16

Veterinarian Health Certificate

2022 — Founded in Millersburg, Ohio
Dan and Melissa launched Boundless Horizon Puppies with a small network of family home raisers in Ohio. First placements focused on serving families across the state with health-tested, family-raised puppies backed by a written guarantee.
2023 — Expanded Service Area
Began delivering to Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Added Cavapoo and Maltipoo to the program alongside Teddy Bear — concentrating the breed roster on the three families request most.
2024 — ENS Standard Formalized
Made Early Neurological Stimulation a documented requirement for every litter in the program — not optional, not informal. Crossed 100+ Google reviews at 4.9 stars. Expanded Pennsylvania delivery routes.
2025 — Florida Delivery & Full 3-Breed Focus
Expanded personal delivery to Florida families. Focused the program entirely on Cavapoo, Maltipoo, and Teddy Bear — three breeds where we can maintain the highest standard across every placement. Built out 300+ city-specific pages across all 7 states.
2026 — Where We Are Now
Serving families across 7 states with 3 focused breeds, private delivery driven by Dan personally, and the same direct relationship that started it all. The business has grown — the model hasn't changed.
