The Teddy Bear (a Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise cross) is the calmest of the three breeds we place, and it’s a natural fit for the established Snell Isle and Old Northeast neighborhoods, where a lot of our families want a dog that’s happy on the porch rather than one that needs a job to do. It skips the cardiac monitoring the Cavapoo needs and asks for little more than a daily walk and someone to sit with in the evening.

Dry Season (November – April)
St. Petersburg’s dry season is the easiest stretch of the year for a new puppy. January highs run from the upper 60s to low 70s°F with low humidity, so walks work at almost any hour with no cold-weather gear needed.
Summer & Hurricane Season (June – November)
