About Us
We’re Dan and Melissa, owners of Boundless Horizon Puppies based in Millersburg, Ohio, since 2022. We place Cavapoo, Maltipoo, and Teddy Bear puppies with Richmond and Wayne County families through a vetted network of family home raisers, never a commercial facility. We evaluate every home raiser in person before any litter is placed.
Richmond sits right on the Ohio-Indiana line, and its downtown still carries the marks of two very different chapters. Earlham College, a Quaker liberal arts school founded in 1847, still anchors the west side of town, and the Gennett Records label recorded some of the earliest jazz ever put on tape along the Whitewater Gorge in the 1920s, a history the city now marks with a Walk of Fame along the gorge trail. Downtown Richmond’s historic district sits just a few blocks from the Whitewater Gorge trail, and the growing mix of small apartments and lofts there is where a lot of our Maltipoo interest comes from. A small, low-shedding dog fits that kind of space well, and it’s an easy walk down to the gorge trail or over to Glen Miller Park most mornings. Earlham College students renting nearby account for another steady slice of calls. The tradeoff at 5 to 15 pounds is real fragility, so young kids and bigger dogs still need supervision.
