About Us
We’re Dan and Melissa, owners of Boundless Horizon Puppies based in Millersburg, Ohio, since 2022. We place Cavapoo, Maltipoo, and Teddy Bear puppies with Greenwood and Johnson County families through a vetted network of family home raisers, never a commercial facility. We evaluate every home raiser in person before any litter is placed.
Greenwood sits just south of Indianapolis in Johnson County, and it’s grown fast around the retail corridor near Greenwood Park Mall while still holding onto its older core in Old Town Greenwood, a walkable historic downtown a few minutes east of the mall. Read about our ENS training program, our 2-year health guarantee, and our placement process.

A lot of our Greenwood calls come from the newer subdivisions south of the mall corridor, where young families are moving in faster than the schools and sidewalks can quite keep up with, and a Cavapoo’s easygoing temperament tends to fit well with toddlers and a busy household calendar. One honest caution worth knowing up front: Cavapoos bond deeply and can develop separation anxiety when left alone 8 to 10 hours a day. If your household is empty most of the workday without a walker or daycare plan, talk to us before reserving.

Greenwood has seen a steady wave of new apartment and townhome construction along the US-31 and State Road 135 corridors near the mall, and the Maltipoo’s small size and low-shedding coat make it a natural fit for that kind of multifamily living, including for the buyers who mention a mild dog allergy in the household. The tradeoff is real fragility at that size, so young kids and bigger dogs need supervision.

Old Town Greenwood has a slower pace than the retail strip out by the mall, and it’s where we hear from a lot of Teddy Bear buyers who’ve lived in the same Johnson County neighborhood for decades and just want a small, calm dog to keep them company on the porch. We also get calls from people commuting into downtown Indianapolis who chose Greenwood for the shorter drive and want a dog that’s easy to manage in a smaller home. Either way, the daily eye and dental routine is the real ask, not the exercise level, and most people find it manageable once they know it’s coming.

Johnson County Weather
Winter
Greenwood sees around 24 to 26 inches of snow a year, with January highs in the mid-to-upper 30s°F. A lined vest handles most cold-weather walks comfortably for all three breeds.
Summer
Summers are warm and humid, with July highs typically in the mid-to-upper 80s°F. Shift walks to before 9am or after 7pm from June through August.
Heartworm Prevention
Mosquito season in central Indiana runs roughly April through October. Ask your Greenwood vet about year-round prevention rather than seasonal dosing, since a mild winter can shorten the safe off-season.

Greenwood, Indiana Puppy FAQ
Do you deliver puppies to Greenwood, Indiana?
Yes. We deliver Cavapoo, Maltipoo, and Teddy Bear puppies to Greenwood and all of Johnson County for a flat $599. Or pick up at Deer Run Park, 3102 Glen Drive, Millersburg, OH 44654. Reserve with a $200 refundable deposit.
What cardiac health testing do the Cavapoo parents have?
Both Cavapoo parents follow the MVD Breeding Protocol: no Cavalier bred before age 2.5 without a clear cardiac evaluation, and no dog bred if either parent showed signs of mitral valve disease before age 5. Your Greenwood vet should begin annual cardiac auscultation at age 2.
How big do Maltipoo puppies get?
Adult Maltipoos usually reach 5 to 15 pounds, small enough that falls, rough play, and larger dogs all carry more risk than they would for a bigger breed. Supervise playtime with young kids and bigger dogs.
Why do Teddy Bear puppies need daily eye care?
Yes. Teddy Bear puppies get their round, prominent eyes from the Shih Tzu side, and those eyes collect debris and develop tear staining more easily than most breeds. A daily wipe with a damp cloth and keeping hair trimmed away from the eyes prevents most issues.
