About Us
We’re Dan and Melissa, owners of Boundless Horizon Puppies based in Millersburg, Ohio, since 2022. We place Cavapoo, Maltipoo, and Teddy Bear puppies with Fishers and Hamilton County families through a vetted network of family home raisers, never a commercial facility. We evaluate every home raiser in person before any litter is placed.
Fishers has grown fast over the last two decades, and the Nickel Plate District’s shops, breweries, and trail access give it a real center of gravity that a lot of newer suburbs don’t have. Read about our ENS training program, our 2-year health guarantee, and our placement process.

Fishers has one of the fastest-growing populations in the state, and a lot of that growth is young families settling in for the first time. Cavapoo calls from Fishers tend to come from households who’ve done some homework already, but who still appreciate a plain walkthrough of the cardiac side rather than a quick summary. One honest caution worth knowing up front: Cavapoos bond deeply and can develop separation anxiety when left alone 8 to 10 hours a day. If your household is empty most of the workday without a walker or daycare plan, talk to us before reserving.

New construction in Fishers skews toward townhomes and smaller lots near the Nickel Plate District, and the Maltipoo’s 5-to-15-pound frame fits that kind of housing without any compromise. It’s also a common pick for households managing mild dog allergies, since the coat sheds very little. The tradeoff is real fragility at that size, so young kids and bigger dogs need supervision.

Teddy Bear buyers in Fishers tend to be retirees who moved here to be closer to grown kids, plus a good number of single professionals working in the tech and healthcare offices that have moved into the area. Either way, the daily eye and dental routine is the real ask, not the exercise level, and most people find it manageable once they know it’s coming.

Hamilton County Weather
Winter
Fishers sees around 22 to 30 inches of snow a year, with January highs in the mid-to-upper 30s°F. A lined vest handles most cold-weather walks comfortably for all three breeds.
Summer
Summers are hot and humid, with July highs typically in the upper 80s°F. Shift walks to before 9am or after 7pm from June through August.
Heartworm Prevention
Mosquito season in central Indiana runs roughly April through October. Ask your Fishers vet about year-round prevention rather than seasonal dosing, since a mild winter can shorten the safe off-season.

Fishers, Indiana Puppy FAQ
Do you deliver puppies to Fishers, Indiana?
Yes. We deliver Cavapoo, Maltipoo, and Teddy Bear puppies to Fishers and all of Hamilton County for a flat $599. Or pick up at Deer Run Park, 3102 Glen Drive, Millersburg, OH 44654. Reserve with a $200 refundable deposit.
What cardiac health testing do the Cavapoo parents have?
Both Cavapoo parents follow the MVD Breeding Protocol: no Cavalier bred before age 2.5 without a clear cardiac evaluation, and no dog bred if either parent showed signs of mitral valve disease before age 5. Your Fishers vet should begin annual cardiac auscultation at age 2.
How big do Maltipoo puppies get?
Adult Maltipoos usually reach 5 to 15 pounds, small enough that falls, rough play, and larger dogs all carry more risk than they would for a bigger breed. Supervise playtime with young kids and bigger dogs.
Why do Teddy Bear puppies need daily eye care?
Yes. Teddy Bear puppies get their round, prominent eyes from the Shih Tzu side, and those eyes collect debris and develop tear staining more easily than most breeds. A daily wipe with a damp cloth and keeping hair trimmed away from the eyes prevents most issues.
