How the Deposit Works
I'm Dan, owner of Boundless Horizon Puppies. When you place a $200 deposit, I pull that puppy from availability immediately. No one else can reserve it. No one else can be shown it. That puppy is yours — held until your scheduled delivery or pickup appointment.
The policy is straightforward: if the puppy matches everything I described — the listing, photos, and our conversations — the deposit becomes part of your payment. If the puppy does not match what was described, you get every dollar back. If you do not show up for your appointment without contacting me first, the deposit is forfeited.
When the Deposit Is Refunded
The puppy is not accurately represented by the listing, photos, or our prior conversations. If what you see in person does not match what was described, I will refund your $200 in full — no questions asked.
When the Deposit Is Forfeited
You do not appear for your scheduled delivery or pickup appointment and do not contact me beforehand. The puppy was held, transport was arranged, and a no-show without notice is a loss I cannot absorb.
Why We Require a Deposit
A deposit is not about distrust — it is about fairness to every family on the waitlist. When you place a deposit, I stop showing that puppy to other families. I schedule your delivery route around your appointment. In some cases I turn away other inquiries for that same puppy.
Without a deposit, I have no way to protect your place or plan responsibly. The $200 is the mechanism that makes a real reservation real.
The deposit applies to your total
Your puppy is priced at delivery. The $200 you paid comes directly off that number. You are not paying $200 extra — you are paying $200 early.

Choose your puppy
Tell me which puppy you want to hold. I will confirm the details — breed, color, gender, estimated ready date, price, and delivery or pickup options — before you pay a single dollar.
Place your $200 deposit
Reserve online at bhpuppies.com/reserve/ or I will send you a payment link directly. The puppy is removed from availability the moment your deposit is confirmed.
We schedule your appointment
Delivery to your area or pickup at Deer Run Park (3102 Glen Drive, Millersburg, OH 44654). I will confirm the date, time, and all details with you directly.
Meet your puppy — pay the balance
Your $200 deposit is deducted from the total. You pay only the remaining balance at the time of delivery or pickup.

Deposit Questions We Hear Most
Is the $200 deposit refundable?
Yes — fully refundable if the puppy is not accurately represented by the listing, our photos, or our conversations. If the puppy does not match what was described, you get every dollar back.
When is the deposit forfeited?
The deposit is forfeited if you do not appear for your scheduled delivery or pickup appointment without prior notice. The puppy was held for you, transport was arranged, and a no-show without contact is a cost we cannot absorb.
Does the $200 apply to the purchase price?
Yes. The deposit is deducted from your puppy's total at the time of delivery or pickup. You are not paying it on top of the price.
What if I need to reschedule?
Contact Dan at (330) 238-8997 as early as possible. We will reschedule. The deposit is only forfeited when there is no contact and no appearance at the appointment.
How do I place a deposit?
Visit bhpuppies.com/reserve/ or call Dan at (330) 238-8997 and I will send you a direct payment link. The puppy is held the moment your deposit is confirmed.
Can I place a deposit on a puppy that is not yet ready?
Yes. If a litter is upcoming or a puppy is still a few weeks from being ready, a deposit holds your place in line. I will keep you updated with photos and progress until your appointment date.
What counts as "not as described"?
If the puppy's breed, color, gender, size, temperament, or health status materially differs from what was represented in the listing, photos, or our direct conversations, that qualifies. I stand behind every description I give. If I got something wrong, the refund is yours without argument.
