Our Story
I'm Dan, and my wife Melissa and I run Boundless Horizon Puppies out of Millersburg, Ohio — a licensed puppy placement service we launched in 2022 after years of watching families struggle to find puppies they could genuinely trust.
We're not breeders. We're a placement service that works with a carefully vetted network of family home breeders — people we know personally who raise litters in their living spaces, not in kennels or commercial facilities. Every puppy we place was born in a family home, handled from day one, and raised alongside the daily life of a real household.
Millersburg sits in the heart of Ohio's Holmes County — the largest Amish community in the world. The family home breeding culture here is unlike anywhere else in the country, and it's the foundation of what we do. We know our breeders. We've seen their homes, their animals, and their standards firsthand.

🏡 Every Puppy Comes From a Family Home
We work exclusively with breeders who raise litters in their personal living spaces. This isn't a marketing phrase — it's a hard requirement. The critical socialization window is 3 to 12 weeks, almost entirely before your puppy comes home. What happens in that window shapes temperament and stress tolerance for life. We require our breeders to meet specific socialization standards, not just health testing checkboxes.
🎓 ENS Training — Days 3 Through 16
Every puppy in our program receives the complete Early Neurological Stimulation protocol — five specific exercises administered individually each day during the only developmental window where neurological stimulation produces lasting physiological benefits. Stronger stress tolerance, better cardiovascular performance, faster environmental adaptation. We document it on every puppy.
🧬 Health-Tested Parents — Documentation Before Deposit
Parent dogs in our network are evaluated for the conditions that matter most in each breed. We provide documentation before you place a deposit — not after, and not in summary. You see the actual records. If a breeder can't produce documentation, we don't place their puppies.
🚐 Private Climate-Controlled Delivery
We deliver throughout our 7-state service area — Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Florida — in a private climate-controlled vehicle. Not through third-party transport companies. Dan handles delivery personally on a regular delivery route. Your puppy doesn't change hands between strangers.

The Three Breeds We Place
We focus exclusively on three companion breeds — Cavapoo, Maltipoo, and Teddy Bear. We chose three intentionally. Placing three breeds well is better than placing nine breeds poorly.
Cavapoo
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel × Poodle. Low-shedding, devoted, allergy-friendly. 8–25 lbs. Cardiac monitoring protocol required long-term. $1,500–$2,200.
Maltipoo
Maltese × Poodle. Our most compact breed at 5–15 lbs. Low-shedding, allergy-friendly, apartment-ideal. No cardiac monitoring required. $1,500–$2,200.
Teddy Bear
Shih Tzu × Bichon Frise (Shichon). The most settled temperament we place. 9–15 lbs. Daily dental and eye care required. No cardiac protocol. $1,200–$2,200.

Our Process
Step 1: Browse Available Puppies
Each listing includes photos, parent information, breed details, and health records. Filter by breed or use the available puppies page to see everything current.
Step 2: Call or Text Dan
We answer every question honestly — including the ones you're not sure you should ask. If a breed isn't right for your household, we'll tell you. Call or text (330) 238-8997.
Step 3: Reserve with a $200 Deposit
A fully refundable $200 deposit holds your puppy. We'll confirm details, share vet records and updated photos, and coordinate delivery or pickup from that point.
Step 4: Delivery or Pickup
We deliver throughout OH, MI, IN, KY, WV, PA, and FL in a private climate-controlled vehicle. Ohio pickup is available at Deer Run Park, 3102 Glen Drive, Millersburg.
Step 5: Welcome Home
Your puppy arrives with complete health records, vaccination certificates, microchip registration, 2-year health guarantee, and 30 days Trupanion insurance. We're available by phone after delivery.

How do you select the breeders you work with?
We work with breeders we know personally — families in and around Holmes County, Ohio who raise litters in their homes. We require health documentation on parent dogs, family-home raising (not kennels or commercial facilities), and consistent socialization standards. We vet breeders through direct relationships, not one-time inspections.
How does the reservation process work?
Browse available puppies, choose your match, and reserve with a fully refundable $200 deposit. We'll reach out within 24 hours to confirm details, share updated vet records and photos, and begin coordinating delivery or pickup. The deposit is fully refundable if you change your mind for any reason.
What health guarantees do you provide?
Every puppy comes with a 2-year written health guarantee covering genetic and hereditary conditions. All puppies receive a veterinary exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and microchip registration before going home. Read our complete health guarantee.
What states do you deliver to?
We deliver throughout our 7-state service area: Ohio ($399), Indiana ($399), Michigan ($599), Kentucky ($599), West Virginia ($599), Pennsylvania ($599), and Florida ($599). Delivery is in Dan's private climate-controlled vehicle — not through third-party transport services. Ohio pickup is also available at Deer Run Park in Millersburg.
Do you offer financing?
A $200 refundable deposit holds your puppy with the balance due at delivery. Call (330) 238-8997 to discuss payment arrangements — we work with families on timing when we can.
What age are puppies when they go home?
Puppies go to their new homes at a minimum of 8 weeks old. This timing is critical — it allows initial vaccinations to be completed and ensures puppies have had sufficient time with their mother and littermates for early social development.

Are you a breeder or a broker?
Neither in the traditional sense. We're a licensed Ohio placement service — we work with a vetted network of family home breeders and handle the placement, delivery, health guarantee, and ongoing support. We're not a broker in the sense of sourcing from unknown third parties. Every breeder in our network is someone we have a direct, ongoing relationship with.
What if I have questions after my puppy comes home?
